NSF VLAB-RESI. The Virtual Laboratory in Racial & Ethnic Stratification and Inequality (VLAB-RESI) is a web site devoted to exploring various aspects of racial stratification and inequality via web-based programs and materials. The site is being developed by Dr. Mark Fossett with support from the National Science Foundation, the American Sociological Association, and the College of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University.

Harland Prechel is conducting research, with co-Investigator Theresa Morris, on corporate malfeasance that is funded by the National Science Foundation. This grant is entitled: “The Extent and Underlying Cause(s) of Corporate Malfeasance in U.S. Corporations,” National Science Foundation (#SES-0351496). He is also the Principal Investigator of “Research Experience for Undergraduates Supplement to The Extent and Underlying Cause(s) of Corporate Malfeasance in U.S. Corporations,” National Science Foundation, (#SES-0351496-001).



Laboratory for Study of
Social Deviance

The Laboratory for the Study of Social Deviance is directed by Dr. Howard Kaplan and is housed in the Department of Sociology.

The Deviance Lab is the home to a major longitudinal, multi-generational survey focusing on social deviance.
