Hours of Operation:
Hours are posted weekly in front of the main office (Academic Building, Rm. 311), on Ginny's door (Rm. 414A),
and on Dr. Cohn's door (Rm. 417). Hours are also available by phone at 979-845-5133.
No Appointments Are Needed to See a Sociology Advisor.
We are an all walk-in shop. We handle students on a first-come, first-serve basis. So just come by 417 or 414A
Academic and we can take care of you.
Students get unlimited time when they are in our office. That means that during the busy season, lines can
sometimes be long. Bring a good book or homework if you are coming during the course sign-up season or at the
beginning of the semester.
To avoid the crowds, try coming in the morning, or between the third and tenth week of the semester. Lines
are definitely shorter at those times.
